The cook books got a work out with lots of new dishes being had.
We warmed up with Pumpkin Soup
We sipped Mulled Wine
We enjoyed every little bit of sunshine Winter had to give
We celebrated Granny Lyn's birthday
I don't think I picked up my camera this week, all photos were taking on my iPhone. It's been a long week and I'm looking forward to starting a new, fresh week tomorrow. Hopefully with a good nights sleep tonight. The twins have had a horrible week sleeping wise, I have had many late nights and 4.30am starts and my body is hating me. Bring on a new week!

Isn't sleep deprivation the hardest form of punishment our children can bestow upon us! Sunny had a night where she woke 4 times with bad dreams. By the 5th call out I gave in and took her into bed with me! Here's to a week full of sleep! Loving your cooking Holli :)

That sky whale balloon creature sure is unusual.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is the perfect weather for pumpkin soup. x
Isn't the sky whale amazing?
ReplyDeleteMulled wine is just one of my favourite things about winter
You have a great collection of cook books...which one is your go-to?
x
Oh yes the mulled wine is the only thing that got me through a long week!! My favourite go-to cook book is one not pictured, Stephanie Alexander's - Kitchen Garden Companion, the most amazing book for a veggie gardener/cook. x
