Gardening was done late into the evenings
Half made dresses, shirt repairs and stacks of material screamed at me from the sewing table (still nothing has been done)
Mangos and raspberries were put to good use on a pavlova to celebrate Daddy's return home
A week of sickness gone, cheeky Alexis back to her old self.
She finally has a new outfit for gymnastics

A lovely journal arrived in my letter box from the amazingly talented Ruby
Time was spend with Daddy, lot and lot of time, with huge smiles knowing that he is now home for good.
beautiful images and go the pav x
ReplyDeleteThat pavlova looks delicious, the combination of raspberries and mango sound a perfect combination. I've never actually made a pavlova before, have made meringue though, will have to try one day. Having Dads at home is such a nice feeling, being away is never very much fun. Have a great week Holli.x
ReplyDeleteA I'm pretty sure the difference between a meringue and a pavlova is only a few teaspoons of corn flour. Either way they are still delicious! Thanks for dropping by, have a great week! x
DeleteThanks for sharing these lovely stills, I found you over at the beetle shack. :o) Your stack of materials look very much like mine at the moment, I have lots I want to do and look at the pile of fabric on my sewing table everyday! I need more motivation and time! So happy to find your blog and looking forward to reading more. You can find me at www.lookingasuare.blogspot.co.uk - it would be lovely if you followed me back too.
