The colder weather always leaves my lips dry and I can never seem to find a lovely lip balm that suits, they are either too oily, too thick, too sticky or too bright in colour.
I decided to try making my own and I was surprisingly stoked with the out come so I thought I would share!
You will need:
2 Tbs Beeswax Pearls
2 Tbs Coconut oil
1/4 tsp Honey
1 Black current tea bag
What to do:
In 1/4 cup of boiling water place the black current tea bag and let sit.
In a saucepan melt the beeswax, coconut and honey. Add 1 Tbs of the black current tea for colour and flavour.
Transfer mix into containers and leave to cool.
(I used a medicine syringe measurer to transfer the hot mixture)
This looks lovely. I love the subtle purple tint, too. Holly.x
ReplyDeleteThank you Holli for this lip balm recipe.
ReplyDeleteI'm going through the Paw Paw ointment so I shall give this lip balm a go soon. Would make cute gifts too.
