Wetlands

We have been having some amazing weather lately, It's been beautiful and sunny, but not too hot, the perfect time of year to head to Tamar Island for an easy walk, about an hour and a half return.

The children were excited to see some swans with their babies as we started our walk, and loved how they didn't mind us coming close for a look.

Our first stop was the little hut hidden in the bush perfect for spotting birds and Wallaby without scaring them.

There are a couple of long bridges on the way, with plenty of seats to rest little legs and watch the animals in the water (or mud, as the tide was out).

We reached Tamar Island and did a quick loop of the small island and headed back on the easy to navigate boardwalk.

A lovely way to spend a Saturday.
