So recently our friends got engaged, we were so excited for them as they have been together for ever and we were all waiting for it to happen! I offered to make them their engagement cake for the engagement party and thought I would share some photos.
I decided to choose cup cakes as its easier at a stand up party with finger food and no one has to cut a huge cake. I also added a cake on top for cutting if they wanted.
The larger cake was layers of vanilla and chocolate mud and the cup cakes were Red velvet, chocolate mud, lemon, vanilla and marble, some had an Oreo biscuit on the bottom for a bit of fun.
I made fondant "J S" for some cup cakes and some small flowers for others, the large cake had fondant roses.
