Weekend Adventures

Tom came home from work last night so it has been an exciting weekend for the kids and I, he had been away for 5 weeks, so we were missing him lots!

Today we went out to a friends farm and had a BBQ lunch with them. They have a little boy who is 11months so the twins love playing with him, but Poppy being almost four can get a bit bored. So before we left this morning I made her a little scavenger hunt out of an egg carton and she had a great time collecting bits and pieces. Every one (including Daddy) is very tired this afternoon and all fast asleep.

 Sitting up waiting for lunch.

Finished!
 Big afternoon in the sun.
Alexis was way over due for a new cot as you can see she just had a portable, fold out cot. So this weekend she got a brand new beautiful white cot and Poppy and I put up new decal wall stickers in their room for them to look at.

Poppy and I did some craft and spray painted some tin cans, they will work as fantastic colourful containers for straws, cutlery or decorations at her birthday party next month.
The twins also wore their first pair of shoes this weekend! It was very strange at first but they got use to them pretty fast. Some gorgeous boy/girl Nike Airs from Alexis' god father.
