Walnut boats

Walnut boats to entertain us on a rainy day. 

Flags made from tooth picks and washi tape, walnuts cracked at their seam and hollowed out (insides eaten by four year old), filled with hot wax and pretty flag in the middle, wait for the wax to dry and volia!

Some cute little boats that can be used over and over.

    I tried doing something similar with champagne corks...it was a massive fail but we had fun experimenting!
