Two

On the 2nd my 2 turned 2.

We had a very small celebration the day before their birthday at our local bike centre, an old reservoir turned into the perfect play area for children to take their bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller blades... and use the traffic lights, stop signs, round about's and more.

The morning of their celebration they woke up to find two new trike's in the lounge room waiting for them, there were a lot of "Wow's" and "oohhh's" and they were happy to sit on them and try to peddle (even if they can't quiet peddle a full circle)

We had an early booking at the bike centre and Rory and Alexis loved being pushed around on their new trikes and playing on the playground with Poppy.

 We also celebrated father's day with their Pop and Papa and shared father's day gifts.

The cake was very simple, a Peppa Pig edible picture and some sprinkles did the trick, I figured I will have many years of making two cakes for these two so I will be simple for as long as they aren't fussed.

It's hard to believe that in two short years my tiny, tiny little babies in the ICU have become two healthy, happy little people.

Happy Birthday Rory and Alexis, I promise Mummy will make you a better cake next year.
