Lace Crowns

If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen I have been doing some bits and pieces to get ready for Poppy's 5th birthday. It is going to be a princess party, so of course all the girls coming will need to bit fitted with princess worthy crowns.

Lace Crowns are so easy to make and turn out really beautifully. Here's my little 'How to"...

 You will need, lace, fabric stiffener, baking paper, a large tin, a hot glue gun and some glitter or flowers to decorate.

 First of all I measured Poppy's head size and cut the lace crowns to fit. I then soaked them in the fabric stiffener then laid them out to dry on baking paper (you could also shape them around a tin covered in baking paper to get the rounded shape)

 When dried I then painted the crowns with a little PVC glue and sprinkled them with glitter (pink, of course) and left to dry.

If you don't shape your lace around a tin you will need to use a hot glue gun to stick the ends together. 

How easy is that!
