Fresh cherry toms from the garden.
Tiger toast is a favourite.
Corn needs harvesting.
Fruit for morning tea.
Banana bread, banana smoothies, banana cake, banana yoghurt and banana ice cream, and we still have some to spare!
Beets in the garden.
Pork on our fork.
Purple beans climbing the lattice.
Food is taking over the majority of my days lately, tomatoes need relishing, bananas need using now, peas and corn need blanching and freezing, onions need drying, garlic needs plating, children need feeding, lunches need to be made and dinner, oh the task of thinking of what's for dinner every night. It all needs doing now, the bananas will not wait a day or two, the corn needs picking at its best and didn't the children just eat a minute ago?
Really I am lucky, fresh food right out my door, three happy, healthy, hungry children and a husband who has a job just minutes away(not plane rides away like before).
And for a Mumma who loves being in the kitchen I'm secretly in heaven.
Happy Sunday! x
