My girls usually live in any sort of dress they can find, but coming into the colder months we needed to stock up on a few winter essentials to get us through.
I love all the gorgeous brands out there for little ones and could easily go crazy when shopping for my three but as they grow so fast and seem to pick the same outfits over and over, I stick to the cheaper options and perhaps spend a little more on a great pair of boots or a winter coat.
I love these skinny leg jeans($18) we got for Poppy from Target, they fit her perfectly and go great with winter boots, flats or gummies and are warmer than the usual tights she lives in.
I love vests for winter as they keep my children warm, but don't seem to restrict their play as much as a large coat. This little faux fur number ($18) was from Big W* and will come out for 'dress up' occasions like birthday parties or dinner dates with Mum and Dad. The pink sparkly boots ($22) are also a Big W buy, not something I would usually get, I usually buy more classic colors like black and brown, but I thought if you can't wear pink sparkly boots when you're 5, when can you?!
Long sleeve tops are great for putting under all those cute t-shirts you bought in summer but didn't get through, this pretty cornflower blue top ($14) is from the Myer Milkshake* brand.
Some great items, that will get a lot of wear in the colder months.
I have a $100 Target* Gift card to give away, so if you would like to stock up for your little ones for winter or just want some goodies for yourself, this is how you enter... be a Google follower of my blog (Right hand side of this page) and leave a comment on this post. Easy peesy!
Drawn next Monday the 24th of March.
Good luck! x
*I'm not sponsored by Target, Big W or Milkshake in anyway (all though it would be nice).
Oh wow I love the pink sparkly boots! And you're right...if you can't get away with them when you're 5 - when can you!?
ReplyDelete$100 gift voucher would certainly go a long way in preparing for our little one arriving in October - at the moment I walk into places like Big W and Target and get totally bamboozled by everything baby related, but I'm sure I will get my head around it soon!
Your gorgeous Poppy looks so grown up in her sweet outfit. And I completely agree - if you can't wear pink, sparkly boots at 5, when can you! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Holli! I agree Poppy looks so grown up and oh that vest and sparkly shoes! We are vest lovers/wearers here, my girls and hubby and I! x

ReplyDeleteWhy, and when, were children or kids called "the little ones"? Just curious. I have seen it everywhere in recent years. I am just wondering if it's a conscious thing or not.
Every girl should own a pair of sparkly pink boots, even the bigger ones! I know all three of my gorgeous girls would love them, but then, so would I! Thanks for the great comp!
