Renovations

When we bought our new home, we knew we would have some work to do, we were excited to get those keys in our hand and get stuck into making it our own.

We are now about 3 weeks into having the keys and we have been at the house every day working early till late. We have painstakingly removed timber floors (glued and nailed on top of another timber floor), removed fire places, walls, re-plumbed, re-wired, removed built in cupboards, shelves, doors, lights and so so much more.

Until this week we have been removing, cleaning and making some big decisions on new fixtures, flooring, built ins... the list goes on, I feel like this week we will have a turn around in the type of work we are doing, instead of removing we will be installing and we will slowly start to see our home coming together.

So here is a little up date. I have been taking lots of photos as we go along, and it's already fantastic to look back and see how far we've come. 

I can't wait for the next few weeks and (touch wood), it's looking like our plans to move in before Christmas might just happen!
