High Tea

On the weekend I had the pleasure of going to a high tea with all the lovely ladies in our family. (Well the ones in the state anyway). 

It started with a gorgeous invite in the post one day from my Nanna inviting me to high tea for a 'before Christmas catch up" and with Tommy home to watch the children I was able to go! 

I was really looking forward to it as I had never been to a high tea before and an afternoon of yummy treats, cups of tea and being served on sounded amazing. 

There were nine of us all together and it was lovely to chat, "goo and gah" over my cousins gorgeous 4 1/2 month old baby and eat lots of yummy little treats. 

I came home to find my gorgeous mother in law (after she had finishing work mind you) and she had bathed and fed the twins, played with Poppy and tidied up the house!! 

 Now to work out how I can do this every Sunday afternoon!
