Easter Egg Tree

A pretty egg tree, perfect to decorate the table for Easter lunch.

We are heading away for Easter but will spend Good Friday at home with a lovely seafood lunch for our family.

Some gum tree sticks were collected, painted a pretty blue, arranged in a glass jar and decorated with our own dyed eggs as well as some pretty paper eggs from the dollar store.

Doing Easter crafts with my children is a great time to discuss what Easter means to your family and what you will be doing to celebrate. We will enjoy the time off with family and Easter Bunny will leave a very small chocolate treat for Poppy.

What will your family be doing this Easter?
Does Easter bunny visit your place?
Does he go chocolate mad or leave something small?

  2. Hey there, Holli! I just wanted to stop by and thank you for leaving a little love over on our blog. :)

This is such a sweet, simple craft. I have to admit that I'm not much of a crafter (at all), but I think I might be able to handle an egg tree -- haha!

This Easter, we'll be attending an egg hunt on Saturday, church service Sunday morning, and enjoying a family meal in the afternoon.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!

  3. I love the blue on the ends of the sticks...it looks great!

I have to work over the long weekend so we will probably have a low key Easter...in fact I know we will as we have done thing to prepare for it!
I will hard boil some eggs and we will dye them and then do our annual egg smashing competition...and then eat lots of egg salad!
