Bird feeders

Native birds love to come and visit the trees at our place. We often talk about what sort they are, why they are here this time of year and what they might eat. 

We made some easy bird seed treats so that they come back again and again.

Mix together 1 part honey to 2 parts bird seed.

Push into cookie cutter moulds and poke a straw through for a string hole.

Set in fridge for about 2hrs.

Tie through string and hang in tree.
